These days, the chances are that your users are sitting in front of machines boasting at least two cores, if not four, and if your software can’t take advantage of this fact then you are at a serious disadvantage - which is where Intel Parallel Studio comes in.

As it’s name suggests, Intel Parallel Studio includes a number of libraries and tools designed to assist you overcome those problems that are unique to parallel programming in Microsoft Visual C++. The suite includes an optimised compiler and extensions to Visual Studio that make it easier to debug parallel applications, together with a range of profiling and testing tools to help you optimise performance.
